MY STORY
I am a globetrotting storyteller with two decades of experience as a writer, marketing communications professional, on-camera presenter and broadcaster. Professionally, I’ve worked for major sports brands and media outlets in the US, Australia and Europe. I’ve also been an executive producer of branded video content and hosted a successful YouTube Series. Recently, I’ve held marketing communications roles for Salomon Sports and Callaway Golf. Previously, I was an award-winning newspaper journalist, an editor for Skiing Magazine, an ad agency copywriter and a radio/TV broadcaster. Mostly, I like solving creative puzzles and finding the best way to tell a story using words or moving images—whether that story belongs to a person, a place, or a brand. And I like to have fun doing it.
I grew up in a sports-loving family near Boston and studied Professional Writing at Eckerd College (Florida). I also played NCAA basketball and baseball. After work stops in Colorado and Vermont, I’ve spent most of my adult life in San Diego, California; Melbourne, Australia; and Annecy in the French Alps. In Melbourne, I took improv classes, too, which I recommend. If you think we might have fun working together in these areas, drop me a line. My work history is here or on LinkedIn. Thanks for stopping by. Oh yeah, I also wrote a funny book about Australia.
